I'm Feeling Eclectic

A mixture of the last couple of weeks and their shenanigans
Summer is so close I can almost taste it. This summer promises a lot for me: Rwanda trip, Mumford and Sons concert, Coldplay concert, pre-college art programmes, and long lost sister bonding time. Life can be so bipolar sometimes- but I guess that's what keeps us humans on our toes.

Isn't it strange how everything good has to come to an end but everything bad could last a life time? I am ready and willing to take on anything that would change my outlook on life as of right now. The restlessness hasn't left me since I stepped foot off that plane back in July. I can't help but feel selfish whilst people across the world are suffering from pains I couldn't even imagine. Give me purpose- let me give my two cents to the world.

High fashion, not high prices

Louis Vuitton (right) vs. H&M (left) for $39.95

Cushnie et Ochs vs. Zara for $59.95

Prabal Gurung vs. Asos, blazer is 118.16 and trousers are $72.72

Jill Stuart vs. H&M for 14.95

Isabel Marant vs. Mango for $34.99

ChloƩ vs. Tibi for $385

Gucci vs. Zara for $159

Ignore the really bad quality of the pictures I uploaded. I couldn't help myself. When I look through magazines the expensive versus normal are always my favourite, but now I know it takes SO long to do them properly. Please let me know if they're worth doing again, even leave an anon. comment if you must.

blouse/Pleigne, flats/Vera Wang, heels/Donald J Pliner, beaded tank/Anthropologie

I've decided my New Year's resolution for 2013 already- do NOT step another foot into Nordstroms or you might have to join a compulsive shopper's therapy group.

I returned from the Bahamas on Tuesday and I must say it didn't feel like I even left the country. It is a nation based on tourism, and that's great for their economy don't get me wrong, but I was really looking forward to not having to see another Abercrombie and Fitch cookie-cutter bimbo for a couple of days. BUT the Bahamian people gave me a six pack I laughed so hard, hands down they're one of the nicest nationalities this world has to offer, even though the taxi drivers are all plastered. I don't normally kiss and tell but this must be shared- I got to lock lips (noses?) with a dolphin.
